Stepping Stone Kennels is a family owned and run kennel, my husband, my five year old daughter and myself own and operate it. My daughter is involved in the process at birth and throughout, it is good for her and good for the pups. I take great pride in selling a healthy, happy puppy and one of the greatest rewards is seeing a family happy with their new addition to the family.
I spend lots of hours with the newborns, handling them, checking on their health, I eat, drink and sleep puppies when I have them on the ground. I love this, it is a dream of mine to have lots and lots of dogs around me, my mother always told me when I grew up I should live somewhere that I could have lots of animals and now I do!!!!!!
The pups are all vaccinated at five or six weeks of age, wormed at three weeks and every week thereafter, we socialize them and put them in different situations before they leave our kennel, we all work hard at giving the buyer a special friend, because it is a long commitment that they are making and I want to give them a good start.
In my opinion the German Shepherd Dogs is the royalty of the dog word, just like a thoroughbred horse is the top of the line in the horse world.
I believe it is the whole families responsibility to work on good behavior, a dog, especially a large dog should have good manors and the proper obedience. A person is doing an injustice to a shepherd if they are not utilizing all that God gave to this wonderful dog, a shepherd wants to please and wants to work, they will look at you with those eyes and wait to learn from you.
All of my males are DNA'ed and have no history of hip dysphasia. Reiko Shay Von Prufenpuden has proven himself to be a great Stud has produced some great pups that have made their new owners very happy.
Nikki Shay National is, well what can I say about her, she is the best, smart as a tack, loves to play ball, play hide and seek, she won second in a local dog show and is a gorgeous black and red that produces amazing looking pups, she is solid muscle, loves to swim and comes from a long line of search and rescue dogs(her mother is a working search and rescue) her father is a patrol dog for a security company and she comes from a long line of police trained dogs.
Cinnamon is my sweet heart, she is so gentle, a little piece of sugar, she has an amazing temperament, gets along with all the dogs, cats, kids, whatever, she is a beautiful fawn sable that should be having a litter of pups this summer with Echo.
Shay's Sierra Sky(CC) is our watch dog, she is very protective, solid as a rock, solid black. Her bloodline is from Mad Max of Mason and and her mother is Madam Shaina of Mason, she is a great dog, a wonderful mommy to her pups. and has a great bloodline with lots of colors in it.
Heidi is one of Nikki and Reiko's pups that we kept to breed with Echo. I expect great things out of these two , they are both top of the line dogs that I predict wonderful pups out of these two dogs.
Echo Canyon Vom Shay Haus is a new male that we purchased for breeding , this is a gorgeous dog with excellent pedigree that can be researched on www.pedigreedatabase.com his father is Maj Cantos Vom Prairie Haus out of Zornes Kennels in Vanceburge, this is my big baby, he is so sweet, he loves to be loved on.
