Marc Beck

MSIT, GA at Space Science Center

I was born on February 25th, 1982 as the oldest child of Franz-Josef Beck and Petra Reimer. I have a younger brother and two little half sisters. I grew up in Frankfurt am Main/ Germany and came to the United States on August 20th 2003. I graduated from Brescia University in Owensboro/ Kentucky with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in May 2007. I managed to get through college on a very limited budget and graduated without any student loans and without any financial assistance from my family. I am currently enrolled in the MSIT program at Morehead State University. I am working as a graduate assistant at the Space Science Center and I am planning to join the KySat team in 2008. My work at the Space Science Center includes creating a software to convert raw data from the 21m radio telescope into FITS images. I also created 3d graphics of the new S- band feed.
